I've had some success with this method. Aluminum sulphate is cheaper at farm suppliers than at the big box stores.

Interesting - that they become too numerous too fast for predators like birdies, say? The Aluminum Sulphate looks like a sound idea, on first blush. Thanks.

Do NOT laugh like my brother did when I tell you that I've wondered about a way to build a feeder designed to make all those wasted slugs from my garden available to slug predators. Alas, the idea is impractical as well as hilarious.

The strategy is perfectly sound, of course. Wasn't it I who wanted to make them avialble to fish?
The implementation might supply giggles for all (slugs included) unless, of course, it worked!
