Well, of course they do. If they didn't I wouldn't be stopping between each sentence I type to pet the one that's laying on the tray next to me.

All my cats need is a clean litter box and their food dispenser filled and they leave us alone aside from coming to lay in the bed with us at night. My cats are easy actually.

I think they learned how to behave from the dogs.

When we were away, the cat never peed outside the box (unless angels replaced the news paper there. I didn't check the dates.)
Now that we are back, however...
