Rainbow

I went to school until 11 this morning, then helped Duck and Jeannette pick and string a couple of bushels of beans. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and talking while we strung the beans. It was a beautiful day with sunshine and fluffy white clouds, so I drove around around admiring the scenery after i ate a late luch with Duck and Jeannette. I finally went home and did some chores. I was watching the evening news when I looked outside and saw the rainbow.  We see a lot of rainbows here, but the thrill never fades. I grabbed my new camera, but I haven't had time to practice, so the shots aren't all that great. cinnamonbite should've been here to take pics.

Rainbows are spectacular.

Who? What? ME?!
Not me, man. I tried a rainbow a couple of weeks ago and it's not easy as it seems. You did fine. If you want to pump it up, try messing with it in Photoshop but that's all I got for ya. The only other suggestion, that I have not followed myself yet, is a tripod and a slow shutter speed but in the daylight, you'll probably need a neutral density filter.
BTW, I just bought an nd filter and a polarizing filter on cellularfactory.com yesterday. Ultra cheap prices, which just came down--from 12 bucks to 9 bucks and free shipping right now. I spent 22 bucks total. Sure, the quality might be shit but it can't be any worse than the expensive filter I bought at a local shop and took back because it didn't do squat.

Hey, that's our rainbow! I'd recognize it anywhere. WHat time did you see it? I'll calculate how fast they move.
