Anythng Irish, in my family, brings back folk lore from days before the potato famine. Sorry, iIt's reflexive on St. Paddy's Day. Under the bed - cats are fully enough. According to my Grandmother, they do "draw your breath." 'DOn;t know where that one comes from, but it seems to favor the little people. Who knows what they do though.
