waiting for the butterflies

Every spring, a huge cloud of butterflies gathers on the creekbank. Hundreds of them, mostly tiger swallowtails with a few black swallowtails thrown in. I'm practicing with the digital camera so that I can record them. If I film them, how can I post the video on LJ? I only know how to swipe stuff from other websites or print pics from my computer.

I would say post it on youtube but don't just link back to it. Post it in your journal by copying and pasting the 'embed' line on the right hand side of the screen when you are watching the video.
