I know of one teacher who kept his job after posting on his blog that "some people should raise hogs instead of children, because you can eat the hogs."
I think that we should provide funding to properly care for all children. I'm an advocate of paying special ed teachers a very good salary and providing more training.
One problem is the practice of passing along bad teachers. In return for leaving without a fuss, bad teachers get a good job reference. Anyone involved in this practice should serve a jail term.
