I don't ask them about their finances. All I know is that they were upset about their realtor's lack of effort to sell it. Uncle Phillip needs more and more care and attention, so they really can't enjoy the beach house anymore. The money would be a good cushion in case Uncle Phillip's medical expenses spiral upward.
The power is on at the house. Family members use it on weekends and holidays, and some trustworthy renters use it from time to time.
It really is immaculate, and it even comes with a washer and dryer.
