I'm just starting out on my degree. The first time I went to college, I had no idea what I wanted to do. 26 years later, I fell in love with geology and agriculture. I'd forgotten all my math and science and needed it for my degree, so I decided to repeat some courses that I already had credit for, as well as take new ones required by the UNC system. The local communtiy college is wonderful and the transfer department at UNC-Charlotte has been very helpful and extremely kind. Why didn't I meet these people the FIRST time I went to college?
