This teacher killed a child. Why isn't she in prison? I couldn't believe that she just went to another state and kept on teaching. Notice the article didn't give her name. The guilty get protection. Who protects children from monsters?

There should be a national registry of teachers who have committed abuse or are simply unfit to teach.

"In Cedric Napoleon's case, government investigators said the death was ruled a homicide, but a grand jury did not indict the teacher.

A judge found that the teacher used excessive force on the child and was reckless in her actions, the report said."

That passage enraged me. It was a homicide, but the grand jury refused to indict? The teacher used excessive force and was reckless, but received no sentence? This boy's death
was cruel and unusual. Even condemned criminals get better treatment than he did.

Sadly condemned criminals in this country have always recieved better treatment that victims. I think the founding fathers would be horrified to see how our criminal justice system has evolved to grant criminals more and more rights. And thats before we get to the appeals process which really bends over backwards.

I'd love to know just who sat on that jury. Predjudice still exists in this country.
